Known issue affecting NatureMapr mobile app 6.3.0

A known issue has been reported with the very latest 6.3.0 version of the NatureMapr data collector mobile app.

Symptoms

Sightings recorded with previous versions of the naturemapr data collector mobile app may not upload successfully if you upload to version 6.3.0 before uploading your sightings.

Workaround

If you have recorded any sightings with a previous version of the mobile app, but haven't yet uploaded them, please upload them prior to updating to the latest 6.3.0 version.

For users that have not yet uploaded their sightings but have already updated to version 6.3.0, you have the following options:

  • You can empty your upload queue by deleting any existing sightings that are showing in your upload queue but not yet uploaded; OR
  • Our team are working on a 6.3.1 update which will address the issue and allow sightings recorded with a previous version of the app to upload successfully using 6.3.1
