Hi @KorinneM - BOM says Hobart was around 19-20 C that time of day. I was in a valley, so maybe slightly cooler, but probably no lower than 16 C.

Nice! What was the temperature like at the time? If cold, it may well have been somewhat dormant. I've come across a dragonfly of a species that doesn't let you get close before in a spot where the temperature was around 10 C, and it didn't move at all when I approached it, allowing me to get photos up close.
