Oh I need to improve on identifying gender! I went by the white face and white tipped antennae but now that Ive read your notes then being male rules them out! Thanks so much for the notes @RogerF onwards and upwards

This is a male macrotona, see genitalia. Male securiformis are short winged so this has to be another species of Macrotona probably australis. I have emailed some notes on Macrotona (5 of 23 species!)

This region is too far inland for X. australis, geographically it is inconsistent with the species.
